Eight high-quality late Gustavian chairs made in Stockholm, dating from around 1790. The chairs feature gently curved front seat rails and splayed back legs. The rails are decorated with carved ribbon-twist motifs. The chairs are very similar in design, with slight variations in details such as the carved fleurons. Each chair has fixed upholstery and a padded top rail on the backrest. The backrests are supported by four baluster-shaped supports beneath the top rail.
