Late 18th Century Late-Gustavian Chandelier with Blue Bowl

A late-Gustavian chandelier with a blue bowl, made in Stockholm in the 1790s. The burnished gilded central ring is decorated with lion mask carvings. The ring features six light arms, and six chains hold the ring together with the upper part, which consists of a "bishop's mitre" with a plume. The blue glass bowl contains a candle holder for a small candle. There are fittings from a later electrification.
