Late 18th Century Gustavian Chandelier

A late Gustavian chandelier crafted in Stockholm at the end of the 18th century. The chandelier features four arms for candles and a frame made of fire-gilded bronze. Its elegance is enhanced by the absence of drilled holes in the rings; instead, the candle spikes hang loosely on a wire inside. The largest ring is adorned with four decorative lion mascarons on its exterior.
